Are you looking to increase the visits to your website? So many people quit the realm of an online business they don’t know how to get traffic. Or if they use paid advertising to get traffic to their site, they typically run out of money, and they produce no sales. This is the reality for 95% of the people online who are trying to make money online.
A lot of skeptics and so-called “marketing consultants” will tell you that all kinds of internet marketing business and traffic strategies just don’t work anymore. But if that was true, how is it that people are still able to make over $10,000 a month from their internet business? I’m willing to believe that all of these people look at pie charts everyday, but have never tried to start an online business for themselves.
But back to traffic generation (I got off track there for a little bit LOL). I understand that when you started your online business, you thought that money was going to start flowing in because you’re an “ultimate genius”, and anything that you put your hands on it will succeed.
Or maybe you had the “Field Of Dreams” idea. You know, the one that says, “If you build it, they will come.” LOL this is too funny. Never build a website and think that people will automatically find it. You have to get promotion to your website each and everyday, and you have to be relentless with it.
I would start with some paid advertising just to get the ball rolling on some new customers, and I would do LOTS of backend marketing so that you can get old customers to come back and buy from you again. You will also want to offer discounts so that there’s an extra “push” to get your product to sell.
There are kinds of paid advertising on the internet. There’s pay per click advertising (PPC), blog advertising, media buys, “stream ads”, forum advertising, email marketing, high website advertising, and more. The possibilities are endless, you just to find out which ones work well for your business.
Now if you get a sale with paid advertising, more than likely you incurred a cost to get that customer. So for example, if you sell a $30 product and you did PPC… and you incurred $36 just to get that customer – you’ve actually made a loss on that customer. But here’s where things get sweet.
Even though you lost $6 on that initial sale, you can add that customer into your backend marketing funnel, and continue to market over and over again to this customer until they buy again.
Now let’s assume you offer them another product for $30 and they buy it. Well, the $6 that you lost from acquiring that customer is now gone because of the additional $30 sale that you just made. This means you’ve turned a profit of $24 – all because you promoted to your backend customer.
And guess what… you can repeat this same process over and over again with other products that you have. So that 1 customer may be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars to you in the long run. So it’s something to think about.
Take these internet marketing strategies and use them to have the success in your business that you are looking for.
Good luck with marketing online.
