When it comes to hidden opportunities that most people are completely overlooking – hybrid marketing is one of them. It has the ability to double, triple, even quadruple your sales (or more) if implemented correctly and depending on your market, yet 98% of online marketers are NOT doing it!
Why is that?
First, let me explain what hybrid marketing is.
My Definition Of Hybrid Marketing
In my definition, hybrid marketing is combining various marketing mediums and creating a single, congruent sales funnel where you can put your business in front of ALL your prospects – not just the ones who are online.
Here’s an example.
Let’s say you’re selling a weight loss eBook course showing people how to lose weight. Since you fell prey to the “Internet rules everything” philosophy that unfortunately most people are adopting nowadays – you’re only marketing your course via banners, pay per click, search engine optimization, and maybe some joint ventures and affiliates as well.
That’s great, it really is.
But what about the MILLIONS of other people you’re missing!?
A Few Advertising Mediums Perfect For Hybrid Marketing
I’m going to stick with the weight loss example simply because it’s an easy one. Realize though, that this can work for nearly any niche – depending on various factors including the size and responsiveness of your niche, how old your target customer is (not kidding), how built out your sales process is, among a few other factors.
With that said… here are a few offline mediums you can try which would have the goal of sending offline traffic to your online website (more on that in a minute).
- Classified ads
- Direct mail long-form salesletters
- Joint ventures
- Radio ads
- TV ads
… just to name a few! There are literally dozens of other ways – those are simply the biggest.
So What Do You Do With Hybrid Marketing Visitors From Offline Advertising?
Now that you know a few different ways you can funnel offline prospects into your online marketing funnel, let’s talk about how to actually go about doing it.
There are various ways to do this of course so 1 size does NOT fit all, but in many cases you’ll either be sending them to…
- A free pre-recorded message
- A landing page to capture their contact information
- Straight to your website
Again, there are literally dozens of different ways to do this and the sky is the limit. The point is, you’re targeting visitors that your online competitors aren’t – and this way you don’t have to mess around with spam filters or anything like that.
Sure, it’s going to be a little more expensive (although in some markets with high PPC costs, it’s LESS expensive) – however the quality of visitors is usually higher and you’re tapping into a new vein of prospects that your competitors aren’t… giving you a very unique competitive advantage.
Hybrid marketing is something many people simply don’t think about, but when used properly can be the BIGGEST boost in sales you’ve ever seen. I highly urge you to figure out how you can employ hybrid marketing in your own business!
